Lower Kings River
February 4th 2012
Please join us for the first club outing of the year, Saturday, February 4th. February is prime trout season on the Lower Kings. This year we've invited the Kings River Conservancy to join us. Even if the weather is a little chilly, bundle up and fish hard! The club will be providing lunch about noon, (Warm stuff like hotdogs, sausages, chili and cold drinks). Bring a small side dish and beverage of your choice.
If you have any questions about the outing, please contact the members hosting this event: Hank Urbach (559-351-5491) and/or Bob Papazian (559-307-4601).
DIRECTIONS TO OUR LUNCH SITE ON THE RIVER: We will gather in our usual spot for lunch; next to the river in the dirt parking lot just west of Avocado Lake where the river braids. If you need more specific directions, call Hank or Bob. Lunch will be served at noon. Come out early and stay late!

What can I say? Pyramid Lake is famous for its huge Lahontan Cutthroat Trout!
If you have not had the chance fish for these fish you need to add this one to your list. If you go to the Pleasanton Fly Fishing Show be sure to check out the presentation Rob Anderson puts on (he owned and operated the Reno Fly Shop).
There are a limited number of spots for this outing. If you are planning to go, please let me know as soon as you can.
