Hi everyone.  I hope many of you made the Lower Kings river outing last weekend.  I was there for an hour early in the morning, but had to leave due to another commitment.  It sounds like there was a really good turnout, and as always, a great lunch was enjoyed by all!!
Many thanks to Hank Urbach, Bob Papazian and Jeff Trafican for hosting the first outing of the year and making it the success that it was!  Good job guys!

The next outing is this coming Saturday, February 20th.  This outing will be held on the lower Merced River just west of El Portal.  There is a day use picnic area just past Cedar Lodge, called Indian Flat, that worked out really well last year.  I'm going to take the club BBQ up and, once again, do up some hamburgers for lunch.  The club will provide the burgers, chips and water.  Bring other items if you wish. Bring chairs!  I'll have lunch available from 11:30 till 1 pm.

Remember, for those who are fishing, you can not fish within the Yosemite park boundary, which is just past all of the hotels along the river in El Portal.  Anywhere downstream from that point is good to go.

If you plan on joining us, please let me know so I have a clue about how much food to buy.

The weather, right now, is calling for 70 degrees in Fresno.  It should be beautiful up in the foothills. I hope you come up and join us!!
